PRESENT/PAST CONTINOUS TENSE

Present /Past Continous Tense => Yang sedang terjadi

Present   => Sekarang

Past        => Lampau
Digunakan untuk menyatakan kejadian yang sedang berlangsung.

Rumus :

(+) S+Be+Ving

(-) S+Be+not+Ving

(?) Be+S+Ving

Example:
(?) Were are you writing?
(?) Are you studying?

Be => is,am,are,was,were

I	am	Was
You They We	Are	Were
She He It	Is	Was
	Present	Past

Ving dapat diganti=> AAN [Adjective(kata sifat),Adverb(kata keterangan),Noun(kata benda)]

Example Adjective :
This class is big
They are cool

Example Adverb :

He was There(adv)=> there (kata keterangan)
Siti is at campus
Egi was at here

       Noun dibagi menjadi kata noun abstrak contoh: Guru,Dokter,Siswa.
We are teachers

Libertus was the student of SMA Shalom Bengkayang.

She is going to the market.

They are going to campus by bus (Present Continous) 

She was going to campus by motorcycle (Past Continous)

 

SIMPLE FUTURE TENSE

Digunakan untuk mengekspresikan kejadian yang belum terjadi, masih direncanakan atau kejadian dimasa yang akan datang.

Rumus:

(+) S+Will+V1

(-) S+Will+not+V1

(?) Will+S+V1

Example :
 They will go to campus by bus.
 She will go to campus by motorcycle

PRESENT PERFECT TENSE

Digunakan untuk menyatakan kejadian yang sudah terjadi dan hasilnya masih terasa atau terlihat.

Rumus :

(-) S+has/have+not+V3

(?) Has/have + S+V3

Example:

They have gone to campus by bus.
She has gone to campus by motorcycle.

He has a car (S.Perfect)
